悪夢の国のマッドハッター Mad Hatter of Nightmare Land

奇妙な言動や行動で人を惑わす夢と虚構の世界の住人。口そのものが「嘘」で出来ていると言われる程の虚言癖の持ち主。

悪夢の国では有名な帽子屋であり、商品である「帽子」を売るために国中を渡り歩いている。…というのは表向きの話。

実際は怖い話を聞いた者から溢れた恐怖の感情が集まって性質の悪い形で実体化した姿であり、人々が話していた恐怖の限りを尽くすことを生きがいとする危険な存在である。

An inhabitant of the world of dreams and fiction who bewilders people with his queer speech and behavior. He is such a notorious liar that it is said that his mouth is itself a “lie”. In Nightmare Land, he is a famous hatmaker, who travels the country to sell his hats. … at least that’s the official story he tells everyone. In truth, he is a terrifying being born from every terrible tale and wicked word that people hear that inspires dread and terror in their heart, such that he is a dangerous being that will exist as long as people talk about their fears and horrors.

狭間を超える少女 Girl Who Crossed the Gap

場所と場所とを次元を超えて繋いでいる空間「狭間」を移動する力を持つ少女。 昔、里から数日間姿を消し、戻ったときにはこの力を扱えるようになっていたそうだが、彼女自身は失踪していた間の事を覚えていなかったという奇妙なエピソードがある。

夜中に彼女が見たこともない扉から出ていく姿を幾人も目撃しているが、やはり彼女は覚えていないという。

ペイルムーンに纏わる逸話の中でも特に有名な噂話である。

A girl who has the ability to go from place to place using the “Gap” between dimensions. In days gone bye, it is said that she vanished  from her hometon for several days, but when she returned, she was suddenly able to handle her power, but she has said that she has no clue what happened when she vanished and remembers nothing. Many people have witnessed her coming out of a door in the middle of the night, but she swears up and down she remembers nothing about this. There is a particularly famous series of rumors that relate anecdotes that she is connected to “Pale Moon”.

学園を総べる者 アプト Ruler of the Academy, Apt

グレートネイチャー総合大学を総べる学長。 見た目からは想像もつかないが、御年500歳という長寿の幻獣である。

345歳の時に一教員から学長へと抜擢され、その後155年という開校以来最も長い期間、現職を務めている。

「学問には限界などない」、新入生が受ける最初の授業は学長自らが行い、必ずこの一言から始まるという。

限りなく学問の頂点に立つであろう彼の言葉は、勉学に励む学生たちに果ての無い無限の可能性を与えている。

The Chancellor in charge of Great Nature University. You wouldn’t know it from his looks, but he’s actually a 500 year old long-lived mythical beast. He was appointed to the Chancellorship from his previous position as one of the professors at the age of 345, and has served 155 years as the incumbent since the position opened. “There’s no limit to learning” is his catchphrase he always says first in the first class of new students, which he always handles personally. His words, which comes from the crowning summit of endless learning, encourages his students to working hard at studying with the hope of endless possibilities.

フェザー・ペンギン Feather Penguin

グレートネイチャー総合大学の一学生。 常に参考書を抱えて離さず、衣食住以上に学を優先する。

その勉学に対する異常なまでの熱意を学長に買われ、その直下で日々講義を受ける資格を与えられた。

誰もが目を見張る程の速さで学内最高の頭脳から知識を授かる毎日。 彼はいずれこの大学に欠かせない素晴らしい賢人となるだろう。

One of the Top Students of Great Nature University. He always gives more priority to studying than to food, clothing or shelter, and is never without a reference book. The Chancellor has high regards for him due his abnormal zeal for studying, receiving the qualification to be given a direct lecture once every day from the Chancellor. The smartest at the school, many are amazed at how fast he is able to absorb information from studying. Someday he will become a verifable sage who will be indispensable to the University.

閃光の剣の戦乙女 Flash Edge Valkyrie

自身の闘気を光の刃に変える力を持つ蒼鷹団の女戦士。

天使の翼を模して造られた飛翔能力を持つ「擬翼兵装」を主装備とし、空中からの奇襲・白兵戦を得意とする。

チームとして行動を共にしている「刃の羽の戦乙女」とは同郷であり、彼女の事を常に信頼している。

前方の剣に気を取られれば後方から刃の羽に切り刻まれる。 彼女達の連携に死角は無い。

A female warrior of the Blue Falcon Corps who possesses the power to transform her own fighting spirit into a blade of light. Equipped with the “Psuedo Wing Gear”, which imitate angel wings and thus the ability to fly, she specializes in close combat dogfighting. She comes from the same hometown as “Blade Feather Valkyrie” and they always work together, as she completely trusts her. Blade Feather swings her blade from the rear if she’s distracted with fighting on the front. These girls together have no blind spots.

刃の羽の戦乙女 Blade Feather Valkyrie

軽量の物質を自在に操作する力を持つ蒼鷹団の女戦士。 通常何十もの物質を同時に操作することは容易ではないが、それを可能にする程の高い演算能力も合わせ持つ。 また彼女の「擬翼兵装」は、本体から抜けた羽が硬化するという能力に合わせた特殊な改良が施されており、「刃の羽」という呼称はここから生まれたとのことである。

閃光の剣と刃の羽に刻まれた者は、白き残像と舞い散る羽から天使を見たと錯覚するのだと言う。

A female warrior of the Blue Falcon Corps who possesses the power to freely control light items. It is usually not easy to manipulate a bunch of things at once, but it’s made easier with when combined with high-grade computational ability. Also, her “Psuedo Wing Gear”, has been specially modified to tailor to her abilities to harden the wings and feathers coming from her body, which gave rise to her title of “Blade Feather”. One struck by Flash Edge and Blade Feather sees a white afterimage along with dancing feathers, and thinks they’ve seen an angel.

セクレタリー・エンジェル Secretary Angel

オラクルシンクタンク社CEOの秘書。職務の邪魔になると言い、普段は翼を赤い羽衣に変えて隠している。

アマテラスに直接スカウトされており、入社以前の経歴を知る者は連れてきた当人のみである。

秘書として非常に高い水準でまとまった能力を持ち、特に情報管理に関して類い稀な才能を持つ。

入社後も他社他国から多くの勧誘を受けているが、どんな好条件を提示されても悩む素振りすら見せずに切っているらしい。

The private secretary to the CEO of Oracle Think Tank. It’s said her red wings often hinder her duties to the CEO, so she is prone to hiding them in the form of a red scarf. Directly recruited by Amaterasu herself, who is said to be the only one who actually know what she did before being hired to her current position. She is extremely competent in her role as a secretary, and is particularly skilled in the area of information and data management. She’s recieved multiple solicitations from countless companies across the globe, but regardless of what favorable conditons and suggestions are thrown at her, she seems to have no plans to quit her current job.

美技の騎士 ガレス Knight of Elegant Skills, Gareth

ゴールドパラディン赤獅子団団長「ブロンドエイゼル」に付き従う騎士。 封印の混乱に乗じて他国からの侵攻を受けた際、

名もなき一兵卒であった彼とその仲間を自身の危険も顧みずに救ってくれたエイゼルに対し、生涯自らの剣を捧げると誓っている。

一流騎士として申し分のない強さを持つが、彼の真髄は芸術と呼ばれる美しい剣技であり、斬られた対象すらもその寸前まで剣先に見惚れてしまう程だと言われている。

A knight who follows the leader of the Red Lion Corps of the Gold Paladins “, Blond Ezel. When other countries took advantage of the chaos caused by the sealing and invaded, Ezel saved him when he was a nameless rank and file soldier with no regard for his own safety or the dangers involved, causing him to swear upon his sword to serve him. With impeccable strength befitting a first-rate knight, his true essence is concerned with elegant swordplay, which he considers an art, to the point that even those who would be struck by his sword are said fascinated by it.

神技の騎士 ボーマン Knight of Superior Skills, Beaumains

ゴールドパラディン赤獅子団団長「ブロンドエイゼル」に付き従う騎士。

聖騎士団所属時より、当時一兵長であったエイゼルの下に付いており、赤獅子最古参の部下として仲間からの信頼も厚い。

肉厚の鎧を纏った重騎士とは思えない剣の冴えから、その技は「神技」と呼ばれ、彼の二つ名の所以となる。

A knight who follows the leader of the Red Lion Corps of the Gold Paladins “, Blond Ezel. A member from the  time of the Royal Paladins, he served under Ezel who was just a lance corporal, their trust in one another is as thick as thieves, befitting the oldest members of the Red Lion Corps. From his ability to wield a sword with the armor he wears as a member of heavy cavalry, it has come to be known as “Superior Skills”, which is the reasoning behind his nickname.

剣豪 ナイトストーム Master Swordsman, Nightstorm

海賊らしからぬ華やかな振る舞いを好む青年剣士。 人の血を色濃く継いだハーフヴァンパイアのため、日光の影響をあまり受けない。

彼の一族は直系と遠縁以外の関係を持たないためか、行動に制約の多い吸血鬼達の中では比較的自由に動くことができるらしい。

スリムな外見に似合わず豪放磊落で仲間からの信頼は厚いが、無類の女好きであることが玉にキズである。

「負けるのは良い女にだけ」とは彼が戦いの場で必ず口にする言葉。 世を傾く無頼剣士に敗北を捧ぐ女性は現れるのだろうか。

A young swordsman who prefers flashy and showy behavior unbefitting for a pirate. As a half-vampire who has inherited the heavy amount of the blood of men, sunlight barely affects him at all. Because his clan has very little in the way of relationships besides direct descent and extremely distant relations, he can move around comparatively freely compared to many other vampires who are fairly restricted. He’s a fairly openhearted and openminded guy, which does not fit his slim appearance, and he heavily trusts his friends and allies, but he has a major flaw in that he is probably the wolrd’s greatest womanizer. “I’ll only lose to a pretty lady” is what he always says on the battlefield. Will a woman appear who can defeat this scoundrel of a swordsman who has no equal in this age?
